IFS & KAP: A Path to Deep Healing
Internal Family Systems (IFS), or "parts work," is a powerful therapy that pairs exceptionally well with psychedelic-assisted treatments like Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). At its heart, IFS recognizes that we all have a core Self—an indestructible, compassionate, and wise inner presence. Alongside this Self are different parts of us, shaped by past experiences, that often work hard to protect us from pain. These parts may show up as patterns of addiction, attachment struggles, overwhelming emotions, or a sense of disconnection.
IFS helps us build a trusting relationship with these parts, allowing them to soften and integrate into a more harmonious inner system. Ketamine can accelerate this process by quieting inner defenses, creating greater access to your internal world. In expanded states of consciousness, the relationship between Self and parts often becomes more vivid, allowing for profound insights and shifts that might take years in traditional talk therapy.
Whether you're drawn to KAP, IFS, or both, our work together will be shaped by your unique needs. Each of these approaches can stand alone or be woven together for a deeply meaningful experience. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space for your exploration—one where healing unfolds in the way that’s right for you.
